Kneller Hall

New three-storey teaching block

Balancing heritage and modern methods at Kneller Hall

neller Hall is undergoing a major redevelopment to
transform the former Royal Military School of Music into the
new Radnor House Upper School, opening in 2027. Set
within an important historic and listed site, this project
balances the character of the existing buildings with the
evolving needs of a modern day school for 11 to 18 year olds.

The scheme will introduce state-of-the-art teaching
facilities, including specialist spaces for science, the arts,
and sport, alongside enhanced outdoor and green spaces
that support learning and wellbeing across the campus.

Edubuild, as part of Envoplan Group, is delivering the design, manufacture, and construction of a new three-storey teaching block as part of this exciting project at Kneller Hall. The building is being primarily constructed off site to reduce disruption to the surrounding neighbourhood, and to ensure a controlled and reliable construction programme around the school year.

Designed as BREEAM Excellent, the facade has been carefully created to sit comfortably alongside the listed architecture of the existing campus. A bio-solar roof and ground source heat pump have been integrated to significantly reduce carbon impact, reflecting a long-term commitment to sustainability and responsible delivery.
